Hiro Paper was started because our goals, we suspect, were very similar to yours. We were in search of paper and a method to create very realistic feeling TCG proxies from the comfort of our home. ...We tried and embraced many DIY methods that came close but never felt quite right or the amount of time and work needed to produce a few cards was too high. This was on top of the trouble finding reputable sources for quality paper paired with the current issues of shipping things from certain regions. So we teamed up with a large paper manufacturer, went through several different iterations before finally landing on our Feels Like Magic paper.
